The London club have no plans to part ways with their providential striker Harry Kane.
While we believed his fate sealed and he was about to take up a new challenge, Harry Kane is now likely to stretch his time at Tottenham, the club where he has played since 2013. The English striker is the head of the gondola of this formation and his last performances at the Euro have only increased his personal odds. In fact, the Spurs intend to do everything once again to keep him in their workforce. It is Fabio Paratici, their new sporting director, who made the promise on Sunday evening.
Paratici wants to “take advantage” of Kane
Guest of a show on Sky Italia, the Italian director, who has just taken up his post in London, promised fans that retaining Kane is currently his priority. “Keeping Kane is not just a goal for me, but for the club,” he said. He is a high level player. I was lucky at Juventus, saw so many great strikers and I want to take advantage of Kane too. I can not wait to see it. He’s one of the best strikers in the world, he has a very good physique and also a great technique. He can shoot with both feet, he gives plenty of assists to his teammates. I haven’t spoken to him yet because I don’t want to disturb our players during the Euro ”.
Kane has been Tottenham’s number one striker for seven years. With this team, he now has 221 goals in 336 games played. He was also three times best director in the Premier League. Despite these statistics, however, he has not always won the slightest trophy with the London team.
