A major European club is rolling out the red carpet for Antoine Griezmann this summer.
With Juventus and Cristiano Ronaldo reportedly set to go their separate ways this summer, the Turin club have started to consider possible replacements for the Portuguese striker and a name that has appeared in Italian media is Antoine Griezmann. The Bianconeri would look to Griezmann to fill the void caused by a possible departure of Ronaldo, while FC Barcelona would be just as interested in separating from the French.
Juve dreams of Griezmann
According to Calciomercato, Barcelona are reportedly seeking to allow Griezmann to leave in order to withdraw his salary from the accounts and thus replenish the coffers. However, any agreement will have to wait until the end of Euro 2020. The Frenchman hopes to achieve a major performance with France after playing a key role at both Euro 2016 and the 2018 World Cup. The 30-year-old is not looking to leave Camp Nou as he looks to continue his upward trajectory after a better second season than the first at the club.
