To strengthen his team next season, Mauricio Pochettino has identified the positions to consolidate. A defender and two midfielders are desired.
Two days after the defeat of Paris Saint-Germain against Lille (0-1), the atmosphere is not the most relaxed near the Parc des Princes. While the Champions League quarter-final against Bayern Munich looming (first leg this Wednesday April 7, 9 p.m.), it appears that Mauricio Pochettino’s team lacks resources in various positions. The Argentinian intends to remedy this.
Without Marco Verratti, the Parisian midfielder tends to seem depopulated, especially as the substitutes do not often do the trick. Behind, same dilemma, especially at the side. One of the first targets of PSG would however be a central defender, in the person of Eric Bailly. According to Don Balon, Mauricio Pochettino would like to make him a luxury replacement for the Kimpembe-Marquinhos hinge.
Two tracks in the middle
In the middle, the Spanish media first mentions Thiago Alcantara. A most utopian option for the player who has just arrived at Liverpool. The other track leads to Juventus, where Arthur could be tempted to look elsewhere. Anyway, PSG will need to strengthen these two lines to manage to go the distance, even in the absence of the usual holders.
