Luciano Spalletti has just been inducted as the new Napoli coach, replacing Gennaro Gattuso.
The Italian club Napoli have their new coach. To ensure the follow-up after the dismissal of Gennaro Gattuso, the Partenopei called on the experienced Luciano Spalletti. At 62, and after being away from the pitch for two seasons, this technician is back in service, with the objective of bringing the Neapolitan formation back to the Champions League.

A highly respected coach in Serie A
Spalletti has already coached six clubs in Italian Serie A, including Inter Milan and AS Roma. He built his reputation with La Louve, often finishing runner-up, before making a stint with the Lombards (2017-2019). In the meantime, he also had an experience in Russia, on the side of Zenit, which resulted in the conquest of two national titles.
As a reminder, before setting his sights on Spalletti, Naples had thought of the former Lille coach Christophe Galtier. The latter preferred to decline the proposal.
