Sergio Ramos’ heartbreaking letter to supporters

Real Madrid defender Sergio Aguero opened up a heartbreaking Instagram letter after the injury was announced.

Real Madrid will be without Sergio Ramos for the next month as club captain Merengue recovers from his left calf muscle injury he sustained during the international break with Spain.

Ramos was keen to explain the situation to Madrid fans and wrote an open letter which revealed he was injured in La Roja’s 3-1 victory last night over Kosovo.

“To be honest, it’s been a tough week for me…” Ramos began in his post on his social channels, “Yesterday after the game I stayed in training on the pitch and I noticed a sharp pain in my left calf. I had tests today which confirmed that I had a muscle injury. But what causes me even more pain is not being able to help the team during these key games in which we will play to decide the season and not be able to repay all of you for the love and affection you give me ”.

The defender then concluded with this message, asking for unwavering support from the Merengue supporters despite his absence: “All I can do is speak frankly, work hard and support the team with my soul”.

The Andalusian player is very disappointed to miss such a decisive part of the season for the team – he will miss the two Champions League quarter-final matches against Liverpool as well as the Clásico against Barcelona in Valdebebas on Saturday 10 April.

These games could determine Real Madrid’s chances of winning trophies this season. We know the importance of the former Sevilla FC player for Real in big matches …
