Militao deplores Ramos’ departure from Real Madrid

Sergio Ramos’ departure will be a huge loss for Real Madrid, according to Eder Militao.

The Andalusian defender gave a touching farewell speech last week as he nears the end of a contract that will not be renewed.

Ramos’ lease expires at the end of the month and the 35-year-old will be looking for a new challenge after no new offers have reached him.

He will leave after enjoying a remarkable 16-year stint at the Santiago Bernabeu, where the Spaniard’s many successes included four Champions League titles. His teammate Eder Militao is very sad to see the Madrid legend leave.

“We know Sergio’s story and what it means for Real Madrid’s history,” said the Brazil international.

“I have no words to describe everything he stands for. I have learned a lot from him over these two years, he is a great person, he always has a winning spirit and he will be without any doubt a loss for Real Madrid. “

“It’s a shame Sergio left, because he was very important to the group. Now I wish him much happiness and triumph wherever he goes.”
