Sevilla FC is currently forcing to try to recover its former protégé, Sergio Ramos.
Sergio Ramos (35) will be out of contract at Real Madrid at the end of June. There was no agreement reached with his management about an extension and that is why he is heading towards a departure after 16 years in the Spanish capital.
Ramos back to the fold
Among the clubs that are willing to welcome the Spanish international there is Sevilla FC. The Andalusian club have reportedly offered their former protégé a five-year contract according to the El Primer Palo show on esRadio. If he accepts, the Merengue captain would therefore have the assurance of playing until he is 40 years old.
Ramos went through the Sevilla training center before joining Real Madrid in 2005, becoming a club legend at the Santiago Bernabeu. For a long time it was believed that he would end his career with the Castilian team, but fate decided otherwise. It is now a return to the fold that looms for the native of Camas.
Not to miss
Note that the name of Ramos also circulated on the side of Manchester United and PSG, but neither of these two clubs saw fit to go on the offensive to sign him.
