Real Sociedad have extended the contract of their coveted Swedish striker.
Real Sociedad have officially announced the extension of Alexander Isak’s contract until June 30, 2026, also improving the salary of the Swedish striker, while his previous contract was due to end in 2024.
The Basque club confirmed the deal between the two sides with a post on Twitter after posting a photo of Swedish group Abba.
Real Sociedad president Jokin Aperribay traveled to Stockholm with the team’s director of football Roberto Olabe to strike the deal with the up-and-coming striker.

“I am very happy to continue at La Real,” Isak said on the club’s official website. “It’s a great club, I feel very loved and I really want to continue enjoying the team.
“Dear supporters, I can’t wait to continue playing for you. I really want to see you at the stadium, we will see each other again soon. Let’s go Real!” Isak joined Real Sociedad in 2019 and during his two seasons in Spain he scored 33 goals in 89 games in all competitions.
The 21-year-old forward, nicknamed the ‘new Zlatan’, has been highly regarded since arriving in Spain from Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2019.
His tally of 16 goals last season has been tied in the current campaign, with all of his goals scored this time in La Liga and admiring looks have been cast in the direction of the Sweden international for several months.
