Manchester United is determined to attract Raphaël Varane this summer. For its part, Real Madrid could consent, but on an additional condition.
Yes Harry Maguire currently shines at the Euro with the English Three Lions, he shines just as much with his club Manchester United. On the other hand, he lacks a sidekick of his caliber and to remedy this, the leaders of Mancunia aim to sign Raphaël Varane. And if they are to achieve that, they will have to give in to an unexpected demand from Real Madrid.
According to The Sun, the Spanish club would like a Manchester player to be included in the transaction. The media thus indicates that Florentino Perez and Carlo Ancelotti would like Donny van de Beek to join the Merengues on loan. Transferred a year ago from Ajax to Manchester United for € 45m, the Dutchman has hardly played. In financial difficulty, Real would like to take the opportunity to obtain a loan allowing them not to spend too much.
Discussions on track
Raphaël Varane’s transfer is estimated at almost € 60 million. If it seems rather on the right track, whatever the conditions found, the discussions will go on for quite a while. After Sergio Ramos, Real seem closer than ever to a complete change of defensive hinge.
