The French coach of Real Madrid has drawn up a list of 4 “untouchable” players in the next transfer window.
In today’s edition, the Madrid daily Marca reveals that Zinedine Zidane has made a list of ‘untouchable’ young players in the upcoming transfer window. Without too much surprise, we find the Brazilian Vinicius Jr – who notably distinguished himself in the quarter-final first leg of the Champions League against Liverpool – and his compatriot Rodrygo, still a little young to claim a starting place. The two attackers are accompanied in this list by the Uruguayan Federico Valverde, who started in defense this week at Anfield.
Finally, it is the Norwegian Martin Odegaard who completes the list of 4 “untouchables” of Zidane. In great form since joining Arsenal, the 22-year-old attacking midfielder even gave Gunners fans a sublime goal last month in the derby against Tottenham. A sparkling form that would have confirmed the French manager in his decision not to sell him to England this summer. Under contract with Real Madrid until 2023, Martin Odegaard should also receive an offer of extension upon his return to Spain according to Marca. A blow for Mikel Arteta, who will have to review his plans at the end of the season.
