Officially departing from Real Madrid, Sergio Ramos gave clues about his next destination and raised the idea of joining Barça.
Sergio Ramos and Real, it’s over. After sixteen years in Madrid, the 35-year-old central defender appeared before the press on Thursday to explain his departure from the White House and answer a few questions about the name of his next club.
Ramos rules out Sevilla return
“We did not study anything, explained Ramos in particular. I entered the market in January. And obviously there were some contacts with clubs, but I didn’t have in mind to leave Real. We will think about the best option for me from now on.
Before discussing a possible return to Sevilla FC, his training club, and a departure from the enemy: to FC Barcelona. “Sevilla is my other favorite club, but it’s not a scenario that I envision, and it’s not a scenario that Sevilla is considering either (…) Barça is a categorical no! he then replied. You can be quiet“. Something to reassure all Real Madrid fans.
