Barcelona could be offered Wolves striker Rafa Mir after his impressive performances at the Olympics.
Rafa Mir scored a hat trick in Spain’s 5-3 quarter-final victory over Côte d’Ivoire at the Olympics, midweek, and the 24-year-old was propelled to the rank of highly coveted player in the transfer window. And although he has gained attention in Tokyo, his club’s future remains uncertain due to his complicated relationship with Wolves officials.
Barça gets involved
Mir has never played a Premier League game for the club following his transfer from Valencia CF in 2018 following a string of loans at Las Palmas and Huesca over the past three seasons. His 13 La Liga goals in 2020/21 caught the attention of Spain’s top flight with less than a year to go from his current contract in England. According to signed information Sport, Mir’s agent Jorge Mendes is confident about a possible Barca move as he wants to open talks with the Blaugrana over the player.
