The rivalry between PSG and OM continues to wreak havoc! The past of the new recruit of the Olympians wants to be passed over in silence.
It’s now official, Mattéo Guendouzi is from Marseille! Only downside, the native of Poissy was trained at PSG from 2005 to 2014 before joining the Lorient Merlus. A past that the Marseillais preferred to omit in the biography of their new recruit, on the club’s website: “Mattéo Guendouzi was born on April 14, 1999 in Poissy. In 2014, he left the Paris region to join the FC Lorient training center. Added to this, the former midfielder of the Gunners had even declared, last March before the quarter-finals of the Champions League, to have a club at heart in France: Paris-Saint-Germain.
Sweaty OM supporters
After the arrival of the Brazilian Gerson, Cengiz Under, Konrad De La Fuente and that of Leonardo Balerdi, the Marseille leaders concluded the loan of a former player trained at PSG. Not sure that the supporters are delighted with this news. It is likely that in the event of failure at OM, Mattéo Guendouzi’s past will catch up with him.
