Olympique Lyonnais is in the process of separating from Jean Lucas in favor of AS Monaco.

Except for an improbable rebound, Jean Lucas will no longer wear the colors of Olympique Lyonnais. After being ignored by Rudi Garcia, Brazilian will not have the chance to prove his worth to Peter Bosz, the new coach of the team.

An offer that OL could not refuse

According to information from The team, he should be transferred in the coming hours to another Ligue 1 club, namely AS Monaco. The amount of the transaction is expected to amount to € 11 million. This is more than double what it cost (4.5M €). In the end, and while he arrived in the Rhône in 2019, the former member of Flamengo only wore the colors of Gones 25 times (3 goals scored).

As a reminder, last season, Jean Lucas played on loan at Stade Brestois. Despite an honorable campaign, he could not make himself unavoidable in the eyes of the Rhone leaders and that is why he was forced once again to change his tunic.
