Eager to strengthen, OL would have targeted the profile of Cologne defensive midfielder Ellyes Skhiri, but other clubs are also on the record.
After a failure at the end of the season, Olympique Lyonnais failed to achieve their goal of qualifying for the Champions League this season. Eager to strengthen itself at all levels this summer, OL are therefore looking for a new defensive midfielder and would have targeted Tunisian international Ellyes Skhiri.
Sevilla can play a trick on OL
Well known to Peter Bosz, who has seen him play in the Bundesliga, the all-rounder has had a remarkable season with Cologne and is set to leave the club this summer. According to information from Bild, the 26-year-old Tunisian would be in the plans of the Rhone leaders. The player’s profile would be very popular.
The only problem, OL is obviously not the only European club interested and Sevilla FC would also be ahead of the file. Jean-Michel Aulas and Juninho will therefore have to align a substantial offer to enroll him, especially since Cologne would be ready to let go of his player against 20 million euros at least.
