The rumor had been swirling for several weeks and it is now official information. Sergio Ramos will be leaving Real Madrid.
The Madrid club made the announcement on Wednesday by publishing a press release. A press conference will be organized this Thursday, June 17 at 12:30 p.m. so that the defender can speak. It will be preceded by a farewell ceremony to pay tribute to him. Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez will attend.
Aged 35, Sergio Ramos is at the end of his contract with Real Madrid. His end of the season was marred by injuries and he was not selected by Luis Enrique for Euro 2021.
