Thimas Muller has warned his future ex-Bayern Munich teammate David Alaba.
David Alaba will end his stay at Bayern Munich in a few days, as he prepares to leave the club where the last decade has spent, winning 27 trophies.
Sharing these successes, Thomas Müller thanked the Austrian defender as well as Jérôme Boateng and Javi Martínez, who will also move on at the end of the season.
Müller has edited a video to wish the three players the best of luck on their next adventures. What the future holds for the Bayern trio is not yet known, although it is believed that Alaba has agreed to terms with Real Madrid, whom he is expected to join on a free transfer.
Nothing official has come out yet, but Müller has a pretty good idea of where Alaba will play next season.
“I’m not 100% sure which club it will be – it doesn’t really matter, you’ll regret it!” he joked, before continuing more seriously, “If we find ourselves on opposing teams, I’m going to kick your ass”!
It looks like Madrid will be Alaba’s next destination. His name was on the club’s reinforcement list for next season, in various Spanish and German media.
It would be a good deal for Madrid, as the defender would join without a transfer fee. Madrid would, however, be expected to pay the player’s father a signing fee and Alaba would earn the same salary as Sergio Ramos – € 12million net per season.
