José Mourinho is said to have taken it into his head to recruit a player of international renown for his club Roma.
After having coached the biggest clubs on the continent, José Mourinho arrived this summer in a team with lesser ambitions. The Special One will take care of Roma, a team that has not won a trophy for twelve years. There is better as a base, but that does not prevent the Lusitanian technician from thinking big and dreaming of a quality workforce for his first season at the Olimpico.
Mourinho wants his former captain
According to the revelations made by the site Calciomercato, the former Tottenham manager wants to strike a blow on the transfer market by attracting a certain Sergio Ramos to the Italian capital. The two men have already worked together in Madrid between 2010 and 2013 and the Portuguese coach believes he can convince his former protégé to take up the challenge giallorosso. Ramos has the advantage of being free. However, AS Roma is far from being the best placed to enroll him at the moment. It is the PSG which would hold the cord for his signature.
