Discussions between Paris Saint-Germain and Lionel Messi are totally blocked. The capital club is turning to other options.
Ten days ago Paris Saint-Germain leaders were optimistic. In connection with the Messi clan, the Qatari owners wanted to believe in their ability to attract “La Pulga” to the Parc des Princes side, as they had done four years earlier with Neymar. Unfortunately for them, the latest news is not good and they have even decided to look to other avenues, including the one leading to Eduardo Camavinga.

On May 17, Qatari insider Mohammed Al Kaabi triumphantly announced that an agreement between Lionel Messi and PSG was fast approaching. As informed as he is, the latter posted a much less enthusiastic message on Tuesday, conceding that ” the negotiations (were) in a total stalemate“. If he specified that ” the player has not yet made a decision for his future“, Al Kaabi indicated that Paris would now be inclined to look elsewhere.
Camavinga yes, but not at this price
The Parisian club must quickly strengthen to satisfy a Kylian Mbappé who has clearly said that he would stay a little longer if judicious recruitments were made. A right side and a versatile midfielder are particularly desired and for this, Eduardo Camavinga pleases Leonardo. On the other hand, the 100 M € requested by Stade Rennais are considered much too high. Paris could however make a proposal.
