The English champion club is planning a raid on Erling Haaland from the winter transfer window.
Manchester City transfer talks and Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland are set to start next January, according to reports The Times in its player edition.
Manchester City in a hurry to close the deal
The agent of the Norwegian star, Mino Raiola, is eager to start discussions as soon as the transfer window opens and City are in the best position to get their hands on the Scandinavian prodigy. The Sky Blues want to take the lead in order to pull the rug out from under the competition. Competition currently embodied by Manchester United, Real Madrid and also PSG.
If they wait until next year, City makers could have Haaland for less seen that a clause in the player’s contract with BVB states that he will be available for only 75 million euros after his third club campaign. An advantage that does not seem to interest the Eastlands.
