Manchester City-PSG: Sir Alex Ferguson visited Parisians

Surprise this morning at the PSG players’ hotel with the presence of Sir Alex Ferguson, the former Manchester United coach.

Was it a surprise visit or a meeting prepared for a long time? Nobody knows but this morning Sir Alex Ferguson, former Manchester United coach (1986-2013) and still a member of the English club’s management committee, visited the PSG players who were still in their hotel a few hours from the semi-final second leg of the Champions League against Manchester City.

The former coach of the Red Devils, who has often caused misery in Manchester City, has been spotted by several journalists who specify that he spent about an hour and twenty minutes in the hotel whose only customers are the players and the members of the PSG due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

When he left the Mancunian establishment, Sir Alex Ferguson was accompanied by Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, the president of PSG.

According to the local newspaper, Manchester Evening News, Sir Alex Ferguson and Mauricio Pochettino have maintained a friendly relationship since the Argentinian coached several clubs in the Premier League (Southampton then Tottenham) which could explain this courtesy visit.
