While his name circulates at PSG, the star striker of Bayern has apparently other plans for the rest of his career.
After seven years at Bayern Munich, Robert Lewandowski is likely to change tune during the looming transfer window. This is what his clan has been suggesting for some time, thus causing concern among the Bavarian leaders and their supporters. But if he did change tune, where would the Polish striker tend to go? One of his former agents took the liberty of giving a clue.
“Paris was never an option for Lewandowski”
Cezary Kucharski, who worked with Lewandowski until 2018 before the latter joined Pini Zahavi, understands that the Bundesliga’s top scorer has only one club in mind for the rest of his career. “When we brought Robert to Germany, the plan was clear: Dortmund, Bayern, Spain and then the United States. And it’s no secret that Real Madrid were his big dream, he said in an interview with Goal / Spox. But Spanish clubs are currently not financially strong enough to afford it and he has certainly realized in recent years that Bayern are the right club for him. “
Lewandowski therefore has a fondness for Real. On the other hand, and contrary to the rumor which has circulated, Paris does not attract him more than that. “One thing is clear: for Lewandowski’s wife, a move to Paris was never an option. I’ve had contact with PSG about Robert a few times in the past, but he never wanted to be serious about it. The door to Paris was still closed… ”, added Kucharski. Obviously, if he feels like getting his hands on the Polish goleador, Leonardo, the Parisian sporting director, will have to be extremely persuasive next summer.
