Argentina striker Lautaro Martinez has reportedly turned down an extension offer from his club Inter.
Forward agent Alejandro Camano has revealed that Lautaro rejected a contract extension offer from the Nerazzurri. The Calciomercato.com site claims that the Argentinian player and his entourage believe that a salary of 4.5 million euros per year is not enough and ask for at least 6 million euros to initial a new commitment.
Inter will not hold it back
In order to be able to breathe financially, and even if Antonio Conte has already left the club, Inter must sell one of their best players this summer. Although Moroccan Achraf Hakimi seems the favorite to leave Lombardy, Lautaro has attracted the interest of many top European clubs and is therefore also emerging as a transfer contender. Inter are asking for 90 million euros to sell the former Racing Club scorer. Last title season, Lautaro made all 38 league appearances and scored 17 goals.
