A former Juventus executive has completely ruled out the possibility of Paul Pogba’s return to Turin.
As is the case almost every summer, Paul Pogba’s name is mentioned in several major European clubs. La Pioche was cited as a possible recruit for PSG, and also for Juventus in Turin. The touch with the Ile-de-France club has not yet been denied. On the other hand, as far as the Old Lady is concerned, it would seem that the noise is without any foundation. Fabio Paratici, the former Bianconero manager, has indicated that there has never been any question of Juve recovering their former member.
Pogba has “never been close to a comeback”
The one who now serves as Tottenham’s sporting director spoke in a long interview to Sky Italia. He addressed many subjects, including that of the French international. “Pogba at Juventus? We still really like the players we’ve had in the past. Paul arrived at 18, he grew up with us and it was a great satisfaction to see him succeed. This affection is part of the relationship that still exists between Pogba and Juventus. Having said that, I think it’s very difficult (to get him back) and there has never been a point where we’ve come close to picking him up. “
Pogba, as a reminder, spent four years in Turin. It was the best period of his club career, symbolized by a total of 34 goals scored in 178 matches played and also four Scudetti won. Its sale brought in € 105m for the prestigious Italian club.
