Hazard’s value in free fall

The Belgian international’s current market value is 40 million euros and has fallen to its lowest level since 2013.

Eden Hazard’s stay at Real Madrid has been marked by injuries and his current physical glitch is the eleventh serious injury since his transfer to the Spanish club from Chelsea in 2019 for a sum of € 100million.

The Belgian has provided seven assists and found the back of the net four times and has yet to display the form that impressed Blues fans week after week at Stamford Bridge.

Its market value has been analyzed by footballers online market value specialists Transfermarkt, after making their final adjustments, the Belgian’s value has dropped to just € 40m and is at its lowest total since 2013 when the winger had just arrived in London after his transfer from LOSC.

During his time with the Premier League club his value experienced an upward curve peaking in 2014 at 48 million, 2015 and 2016 saw this value increase to 70 million, in 2017 Hazard was worth 75 million with the major progression to come in 2018 when it skyrocketed to 150million (Neymar’s transfer from Barcelona to PSG at the time for 222million helped drive up the price).

Real Madrid signed him at that time and since moving to the Spanish capital the Belgian’s value has steadily fallen to his current low of 40million.

Recently, Zinedine Zidane evoked the case of Eden Hazard, very often injured since his arrival at Real, with confidence: “Hazard is not in a state to be with us. We have nothing more to say and I can not you explain more, I think we are going to release something. I hope as always that is little, because I am always positive. There is something going on with Hazard, he had not been injured before and now it is new for him. Something is happening. Hazard is a player who had not been injured in his career and it is new for him. We are with him, we want to help him, “Zidane explained.
