Christophe Galtier should give up his position as LOSC coach this summer for that of Naples.
There is no smoke without fire. As announced a few days ago, the future of Christophe Galtier seems to be emerging on the side of Italy. The man who is in the process of guiding Lille to the title of champion of France would be well placed to take charge of the formation of Naples.
Galtier is the priority of Naples
This Monday, the transalpine daily Il Mattino even ensures that everything is ready for the French technician to take over from Gennaro Gattuso at the head of Partenopei. The latter would no longer have the favors of Aurelio De Laurentiis, the president of the club, and could bounce back on his side at Fiorentina.
Galtier is the favorite to land in San Paolo, while the name of Simone Inzaghi (Lazio) has also been mentioned by the transalpine press. In the south of Italy, and if he were to engage, “Gallette” would benefit from a salary of 2.5M €. That’s more what he gets in Lille (2.1M €), but it is not as much as what OGC Nice offers him (4M €). Note that the brilliant coach is also desired by OL to take over from Rudi Garcia.
