Departure from Zidane: Benzema “thank you Frérot for everything you have brought me”


It’s official for a few hours, Zinédine Zidane is no longer the coach of Real Madrid. Some of his players reacted to this announcement, including Karim Benzema who pays tribute to his former coach.

Zinedine Zidane will remain the only Real Madrid coach to have won three Champions League in a row (2016-2017-2018) but also two Spanish championships, including that of 2020 after an exceptional second part of the season. Karim Benzema paid a nice tribute via an Instagram post to his trainer, Zinedine Zidane: “Thank you bro for everything you have given me both collectively and personally. I am proud and honored to have been able to move forward and grow with the man that you are. ”
