Cristiano Ronaldo’s agent Jorge Mendes is currently working on a contract extension for his client at Juventus.
Cristiano Ronaldo, who was announced at the start a while ago, could well make a fourth season at Juventus. And he may even go beyond his current contract. This is what reports The Gazzetta dello Sport in its edition today, indicating that Jorge Mendes, his famous agent, would seek to obtain a new engagement from the Piedmontese officials.
Juventus face a dilemma
Probably aware that there is no other club that is able to offer the five-time Ballon d’Or the same salary conditions as they currently enjoy in Piedmont, Mendes is trying to get a one-year extension. The request is legitimate in view of the services rendered by CR7 to the Old Lady, but it is not sure that the Italian officials accept. Unless they have lost hope of transferring it this year and choose to stretch its lease rather than let it slip away in 2022.
