Chelsea are planning big maneuvers to find a great striker. Thomas Tuchel is said to be unhappy with Timo Werner’s inconsistent performance this season. As a result, the German coach would like to find another reinforcement who could meet his requirements. London leaders would therefore target a former player of the club who is currently a hit in Serie A.

Having worn the Chelsea tunic between 2011 and 2012, Romelu Lukaku stands out remarkably with Inter Milan. This season, the Belgian is the strongman of Antonio Conte’s formation with 20 goals on the clock, in 27 Serie A games. In view of his stature in Europe, the 27-year-old striker impresses and is very much courted by many clubs such as Chelsea. The latter would strongly wish his return to the fold.
Romelu Lukaku, a big target for Chelsea
According to Calciomercato.com, Chelsea are said to be ready to take action to sign the player. The London club would spend a sum of 100 million euros in favor of Inter Milan to acquire Romelu Lukaku. Other contenders are however on the ranks in this file. Indeed, Barcelona and Manchester City are also candidates to enlist Romelo Lukaku.
