Jürgen Klopp does not have his tongue in his pocket. After the Champions League match against Real Madrid on Tuesday (3-1), the Liverpool manager attacked the referee Felix Brych who would not have whistled a foul against Sadio Mané before the second goal of the opposing team.
“The situation with Sadio, I’m not sure what the referee did tonight,” railed Klopp after the match. It sounded like something personal. I told him after the game, I think he was unfair to Sadio. He’s not the one who makes us lose the match but you just need a good referee” , did he declare.
For his part, Peter Crouch, former Liverpool player, also pointed to arbitration. “It’s a 100% fault. He doesn’t look at the ball, it’s a fault anywhere on the pitch ”, he told Crouch on BT Sport.
