Marcelo Bielsa would like to bring Lyon midfielder Maxwel Cornet to Leeds.
Ivorian international Maxwel Cornet could continue his career in the English championship. The daily The Sun Leeds and his coach Marcelo Bielsa have indicated that they are very interested in signing him during the current transfer window. The former OM coach particularly appreciates the versatile profile of the Lyonnais.
Leeds ready to bet big for Cornet
Cornet has a contract with OL which runs until 2023. Rhone officials are not willing to sell him off. The Peacocks, however, are willing to pay whatever price it takes to achieve their ends. A transfer fee of € 23 million was mentioned by the British press.
Last season, Cornet played 39 matches for Les Gones, including 32 as a starter. He scored four goals and offered six assists.
