Carlo Ancelotti spoke to Richarlison about a possibility of joining him in Madrid this summer.
According to our information, Carlo Ancelotti contacted the Brazilian Everton Richarlison, in order to bring him to Real Madrid.
These conversations took place through telephone contact, as the player is currently playing in the 2021 Copa América for the Brazilian national team.
Coach of the 24-year-old at Everton between 2019 and 2021, the Italian coach sees the athlete on his list of reinforcements for the time of Santiago Bernabéu.
Not to miss
In search of a striker for his Real Madrid team, Ancelotti intends to make his own casting choices this summer and be uncompromising.
Today, Real Madrid have seven attacking players: Eden Hazard, Vinícius Júnior, Marco Asensio, Rodrygo, Lucas Vázquez, Karim Benzema and Mariano Díaz. A reinforcement would not be too much for the Spanish formation in this sector.
The Brazilian forward has been with Everton since 2018, having moved to Goodison Park following a season at Watford.
Ancelotti arrived in the middle of the 2019-20 season, Richarlison having scored 15 goals by the end of that campaign. In total, Richarlison has scored 42 goals in 119 appearances for Everton, including 13 last season.
Ancelotti is eager to bring him to the Bernabeu, but any potential discussion is still in its infancy. Still, the conversation between the two could evolve into an offer for Everton to consider in the coming weeks.
