Although the Euro and the Copa America are not yet over, the transfer market is in turmoil this summer. And Carlo Ancelotti has a new priority.
At 62, Carlo Ancelotti has launched a new challenge, that of succeeding a second term in the White House. And the former Everton tactician would like to pack an Everton player in his suitcase. Based on information from Goal, the Italian coach would have contacted the Brazilian Richarlison, he who is preparing to play in the Copa America final against Argentina on Saturday. The Italian technician would have warned Real Madrid of his wish, as well as Everton. The 24-year-old striker remains attached to the Toffees until 2024 under the terms of his contract and is estimated to be worth 55 million in the transfer market.
The Italian technician will face a hell of a challenge this season with Real Madrid. Real’s transfer window seems to have taken a strange turn since apart from the signing of David Alaba to fill the departure of Sergio Ramos, the priority of signing Kylian Mbappé this summer has frozen other transfers. However, the White House can rely on loan returns which are plentiful. In particular those of Ceballos and Odegaard leaving Arsenal, but also that of Gareth Bale (Tottenham), Luka Jovic (Frankfort) or Brahim Diaz (AC Milan).
