Ex-midfielder of OM and today in Sassuolo, Maxime Lopez confirmed an interest of his teammate Jérémie Boga for the Marseille club.
Always looking for a new striker to compensate for the departure of Florian Thauvin, who left for Tigres (Mexico), the leaders of OM had investigated several avenues. Among them, there is that of the native of Marseille, Jérémie Boga. If he has never worn the Marseille jersey, his teammate in Sassuolo and former OM midfielder, Maxime Lopez, assures us that he would not be “insensitive” to the interest of the club in his hometown.
Lopez: “Boga is a supporter of OM”
“No, we never talked about it, because the first rumors circulated once the season was over. So I don’t know if OM got in touch with their agent. But what I know is that as a Marseillais, Jérémie follows OM, he is a supporter of the club. Throughout the season, we have been talking about matches. Even if he left very young for Chelsea, I think he would not be insensitive to an interest of OM, if there is one. But I don’t know any more and we haven’t discussed it, ”he explains in Provence.
