OM have just announced this Friday the contract extension of their 27-year-old left-back, Jordan Amavi, until 2025.
Olympique de Marseille has just announced this Friday the contract extension of Jordan Amavi. As he reached the end of his contract next June, the left side has initialed a new lease for four additional seasons, until 2025.
Amavi goes back four years
“During the summer of 2017, Jordan Amavi had already signed a four-season contract with OM (…) Since his arrival in Marseille, Jordan Amavi has played all competitions combined 121 games (i.e. 30 games per season) for a total of 3 goals“, Specifies the Marseille club on its official website.
Arrived in 2017 from Aston Villa, after having started in Ligue 1 with his training club Nice, the 27-year-old defender was unable to start under Samapoli due to major injuries this season. Amavi’s good start to the season would still have convinced the Argentine technician to rely on him for the next season.
