The Real Madrid captain and defender has met with his president about his future, AS reports.
Sergio Ramos visited Real Madrid’s training ground in Valdebebas on Friday around noon. Those who saw him arrive were somewhat surprised as the club captain had not been here for about a week, according to information from AS.
The same sources reveal that Madrid president Florentino Pérez was also on the training ground at the time, and that Pérez and Ramos held a meeting. After Pérez and Ramos’ reunion ended, witnesses say they could both be seen with a smile on their face, with an appearance of satisfaction, as they left Valdebebas separately.
Could that mean the defender has now accepted the terms of the contract offered by the club and is expected to stay at the Bernabéu?

Hard to say. All the Spanish media can claim is that the duo had a chat. Talks on a new contract seemed to have stalled in recent days, however, and pointed to a departure of Ramos on July 1, at the expiration of his current lease in Madrid.
In the negotiations that took place directly between Ramos and Pérez, without intermediaries, Madrid have so far been unable to reach an agreement with the 35-year-old Spain international, who has been at the club since 2005.
