Currently at Arsenal, former Parisian David Luiz could join MLS at the end of the season. Lazio Rome would also be interested.
David Luiz’s future is moving away from Arsenal. While the contract of the former central defender of PSG will come to an end at the end of the season, representatives of the Brazilian began to contact potential suitors to prepare for his future as the media announces CBS.
David Luiz also targeted by Lazio
Although appreciated by Mikel Arteta, it is not yet certain that David Luiz has a third season with the Gunners. The London defender could therefore join Major League Soccer, but the 34-year-old’s salary could pose a problem as it would exceed the salary cap of the North American league.
Indeed, the former Parisian would earn 110,000 euros per week at Arsenal, after a pay cut almost a year ago. CBS also specifies that David Luiz has been cited for a transfer to Lazio Rome. The Brazilian arrived from Chelsea for around € 10million in the summer of 2019.
