Boubacar Kamara is getting closer and closer to the exit in Marseille. Its future seems to be emerging in England.
Olympique Marseille should soon separate from one of its main captains, in this case Boubacar Kamara. Despite his importance in the device of Jorge Sampaoli, the international hope tricolor should be sold. The club needs funds after having recruited a lot since the start of the summer, and the talented defensive midfielder happens to be the most bankable part of the squad.
Monaco is no longer in the race
The destination that appears to be the most likely for Kamara is Newcastle United. From what the Daily Mail, the Magpies recently went on the offensive to recruit the Marseille member. They hope that an offer of 11.5M € will be sufficient to attract him to the side of Saint-James Park. An amount which is far from the 20-25M € hoped for by the Phocaean board.
Aged 21, Kamara has only one year of contract with his training club. An interest of AS Monaco had also been mentioned concerning him, but it would seem that the Monegasque leaders are not really ready to make a concrete approach with a view to a transfer.
